Sex addiction
This explainer focused on raising awareness about sex addiction-its symptoms, emotional effects, and the importance of seeking professional help.
The story centers on a character who is in therapy, openly discussing his struggles. Through this narrative, viewers are introduced to both the psychological patterns of addiction and the process of healing. The tone is a balance of honest, empathetic, and visually engaging storytelling, intended to reduce stigma and encourage conversation.
I created the 3D characters and animations in Daz Studio, designed additional visual elements in Illustrator, and composited everything in After Effects.
The project used a mix of 3D rendered characters with flat 2D elements, offering stylistic contrast while keeping the focus on the emotional journey. The palette leaned into neon and purple tones, designed to evoke both urgency and emotional complexity.

Challenges & Creative Decisions
One of the main challenges was addressing a highly sensitive topic in a culturally respectful and viewer-friendly way. To do this, I carefully stylized all visuals, especially when referencing potentially explicit elements, using symbolism, color cues, and abstract representations.
The scenes were designed to feel dynamic but non-triggering. The character's interactions with the therapist served as an emotional anchor for the story, and the use of vibrant visuals helped maintain viewer engagement while navigating difficult subject matter.
